We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks

MARQUETTE, MI – DocuMonday presents the film “We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks” on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.

This documentary chronicles tells the story of the Sunshine Press launching the website WikiLeaks.org in 2006. As run by Australian Internet activist Julian Assange, the site’s mandate involved regularly publishing top-secret documents and covert information, often regarding governments and their respective military operations.

“We Steal Secrets” was released in July 2013, is rated R and runs for 127 minutes.
