The Fleetwood Mac singer will be this year’s recipient of the BMI Icon Award, presented annually by the music-rights organization Broadcast Music, Inc. The award recognizes artists for their “unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers.”

Eagle Rock EntertainmentAfter postponing their March-April tour of Australia and New Zealand following the suicide of Mick Jagger‘s girlfriend, L’Wren Scott, The Rolling Stones have now confirmed the complete itinerary of the upcoming European leg of their 14 on Fire trek. The 14-date outing will get under way May 26 in Oslo, Norway, and is plotted out through a July 3 appearance at Denmark’s popular Roskilde Festival.

Courtesy of University of Notre DameTough break for Jon Bon Jovi‘s son, who plays football for Notre Dame. Twenty-year-old Jesse Bongiovi will miss all of next season after suffering a torn ACL, a major ligament in the knee.
ESPN.com’s Matt Fortuna, who covers Notre Dame football, reported the news on Twitter, citing comments made to him by Fighting Irish head coach Brian Kelly.
Bongiovi, who plays the cornerback position, walked on to the team last year as a freshman.
