Mixing spoon

Rolling pin

Cookie cutters

Foil-lined cookie sheet

Oven mitt

Oven

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200*.

  2. Mix ingredients together, adding a
little more water if dough seems too dry.

  3. Roll out dough and cut out shapes
    with cookie cutters.

  4. Place shapes in oven.

  5. Turn ornaments every 10 minutes.

  6. Remove when firm.

Tips:

    • Remind children that this dough
is not meant to be eaten.

    • Dough may be a little sticky so
use extra flour when working with the dough.

Suggestions and Variations:

  • Add a pinch of nutmeg or cloves
    for a spicier fragrance.

  • Make hanging ornaments: poke a
hole at the top, lace string through hole and tie a loop.

Have fun making these with your kids. I’m gonna try and do this with Draper this weekend, I think it will be a fun activity for us to do together.
