Bake- Em-Up Cinnamon Shapes
Great for making sweet-smelling
hanging ornaments.
This dough is not edible.
Yield: about 1 ½ cups
Ingredients:
1 cup cinnamon
¼ cup water
¼ cup white glue
Other Things You’ll Need:
Mixing bowl
Mixing spoon
Rolling pin
Cookie cutters
Foil-lined cookie sheet
Oven mitt
Oven
Directions:

Preheat oven to 200*.

Mix ingredients together, adding a
little more water if dough seems too dry. -
Roll out dough and cut out shapes
with cookie cutters. -
Place shapes in oven.

Turn ornaments every 10 minutes.

Remove when firm.
Tips:
-
Remind children that this dough
is not meant to be eaten. -
Dough may be a little sticky so
use extra flour when working with the dough.
Suggestions and Variations:
-
Add a pinch of nutmeg or cloves
for a spicier fragrance. -
Make hanging ornaments: poke a
hole at the top, lace string through hole and tie a loop.
Have fun making these with your kids. I’m gonna try and do this with Draper this weekend, I think it will be a fun activity for us to do together.
