Hans’ Pick of the day….

Blaze of Glory” is a song by Jon Bon Jovi which hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990, his only chart-topper away from his band Bon Jovi. It first appeared in the motion picture Young Guns II, for which it was originally recorded. It later appeared as the title track on his solo album Blaze of Glory.

This was also the 1st solo album by any member from Bon Jovi which fueled rumors that the band was breaking up that lasted 6 months until the band announced the release of a new album. The reason for Jon Bon Jovi doing this solo album was that the people from Young Guns 2 wanted to actually us Bon Jovi’s song Wanted Dead or Alive but the band could not agree as to whether or not to let them use it so Jon decided to do it by himself.
