Elvis Presley And Robbie Williams Graphic Novels

Elvis Presley & Robbie Williams Graphic Novels

Chart toppers Elvis Presley and Robbie Williams get the comic book treatment this week in two new releases, “The Elvis Presley Experience” & “Fame: Robbie Williams.”

“The Elvis Presley Experience” is both scholarly and dramatic in its graphic recreation of the King’s remarkable life story. Though the series was among the best selling contemporary biographic comics of the 1990s, the individual issues have been out of print for over ten years and for the 1st time together in this collection.

This 200-page graphic novel features art by future Marvel and DC star Aaron Sowd (Wolverine), with a story co-scripted by Babylon 5 TV vet Patrick McCray. Azim did the cover.

“The Elvis Presley Experience” is available in print at Amazon or wherever books are sold.  The graphic novel will be released digitally for the 1st time on ITunes, Nook & Kindle.

“FAME: Robbie Williams”, the bad boy of boy bands. The number 9 of pop. The big “R.” Mr. Let Me Entertain You is back! The Brit sensation Robbie Williams is back with a vengeance in this 4th wall breaking bio comic. Follow Robbie through his life from his early days in Take That! To soaring solo success– all with a little touch of the Robster himself!

“Fame: Robbie Williams” is written by Steven Stone and drawn by Jill Lamarina.  There will be two covers for this issue, one by artist Jill Lamarina and one by Michał Szyksznian. Both will be available in print.

Biography: From within the four walls of a small bedroom in the midst of middle England derives a raw and sincere sound, less of an abode it’s a place dedicated to the creation of songs and the tools that make them.

More of an obsession than a hobby, more honest than a lot of things you’re likely to hear today. A nod to musical squires and the consistent immersion in classic pop records, that’s just the beginning of the journey to what comes out the speakers in the end. Some will call it old fashioned, but that’s OK, to get the best fidelity and performance on tape with real instruments is all I want to know

Nashville Radio Promotions was started in 2012 when a group of well-known independent record label owners in Nashville decided to band together. One of the biggest obstacles facing the smaller independent labels was being able to compete on a much smaller budget in their artists promotions. So they decided to pool their resources and work together. Thus Nashville Radio Promotions came to be.

We are now working with 14 different artists on 6 different labels helping to promote their music to The World and that number is being added to each and every week.

If you are an independent artist or record label looking for help with promoting your music to radio give us a shout. The group is headed up by Colt Records label President J. K. I Don’t Know Much

Biography: Every so often, an artist comes my way and I have no real way of explaining what it is that makes me “relate” and even more so, I can’t compare them to other artists that they remind me of. When Musik and Film ( introduced me to Graham, I heard an artist that sounded very unique with an amazing potential in his music. The five tracks were originally recorded in Ireland with basic instrumentation to get the song structures and Graham’s vocals recorded. Graham wanted to have these songs reflect more of today’s “Nashville Sound” and was happy to give me the freedom to paint the picture that I had in mind. In order to do this, we all agreed that what needed to happen was to strip the tracks back to the their roots and then build them back up from there.

Once I started working on the first song, “Forecourt Flowers,” I was convinced that my instincts were right. Not only were Graham’s vocals unique and stong enough to hold up to the “Best,” what at first seemed to be a very simple track, took on a whole new flavor once we got into remixing/mastering and adding additional instruments from some AMAZING Nashville icons. The EP features guest performances, recorded at Palette Studio -Nashville, from Troy Klontz on steel and dobro (performed with Brooks and Dunn), Steve Stokes on fiddle (performed with Josh Turner and John Michael Montgomery), Tim Lorsch ( – who played for Kenny Chesney & Keith Urban) and last but not least, background vocals from the very talented singer/songwriter, Debra Lyn ( I brought Debra in because when I first heard Graham’s voice, I felt both Debra and he would compliment each other. Debra’s voice brought a feminine, yet strong flavor to Graham’s very powerful and husky voice and to the overall sound of the EP.

This project brought a talented singer/songwriter from Ireland together with musicians from “across the pond” to create an EP of material that is sometimes thought provoking and uplifting, with catchy melodies and lyrics and is uniquely Graham Murray. Jeff Silverman

Tanner Clark is the first artist to join Calling Glory on Soncured Records!

“Stronger” encourages believers to hold onto Christ in tough times and trust that he will deliver them, “I’ll walk through the fire for you, I’ll stand and not be burned and watch these ties that bind me fall to dust.”  Just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had the strength to face fire, so we as Christians can have faith to face whatever obstacles life throws at us.  Trusting that Jesus will not only give us the strength to overcome but that He will also will make us stronger through the process.  “Stronger” was produced and recorded by Jason Hoard and mastered by Euphonics Masters.
