“Judge a Cake By Its Cover” Cake Decorating Contest

Registration is open for the third annual “Judge a Cake By Its Cover” Cake Decorating Contest at the Peter White Public Library. Bakers of all ages are invited to register by Saturday, January 19 to enter a cake of their own creation decorated in a library book theme.

The public is invited to attend the contest and participate in the judging on Saturday, January 26 at 2:00 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.

Cash prizes will be awarded in three categories: professional, adult amateur and youth amateur.

Members of the library’s Tasty Reads book group will serve as judges for the first and second prizes in each category. A people’s choice award for each category will be selected by audience vote.

Contest details and registration form are available online at www.pwpl.info or at the library. There is no fee to enter the contest but registrations must be received by Saturday, January 19 at 5:00pm to qualify for judging.
