Groundhog Day with Bill Murray Plays February 21st at Peter White Public Library

The Peter White Public Library’s Film Club, welcomes the public to a screening of the modern classic film “Groundhog Day” on Thursday, February 21 at 1:00 pm in the library’s Community Room.

Self-centered television weatherman, Phil Connors, played by Bill Murray, is once again sent to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to cover the annual Groundhog Day Festival. Little does he know that he has one day left to live-February 2—over and over again.

Says Richard Coryliss of TIME Magazine, “[Murray] carries Groundhog Day with his uniquely frittery nonchalance and makes the movie a comic time warp anyone should be happy to get stuck in.”

“Groundhog Day” also stars Andie MacDowell, was released in 1993, is rated PG and runs for 103 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.

There is no admission charge thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
