Miikka Skaffari/FilmMagicGeoff Tate, a co-founder of Queensrÿche and its frontman for more than three decades, will be performing his final concert tour using the band name this summer, he announced Tuesday.
The announcement of “Queensrÿche Starring Geoff Tate — The Farewell Tour” follows a settlement between Tate and his former bandmates Michael Wilton, Eddie Jackson and Scott Rockenfield, which grants Tate the exclusive right to perform the albums Operation: Mindcrime and Operation: Mindcrime II as unique performances.
