When God first called me into ministry a few years back, I couldn’t stand the thought of getting on stage and talking about ‘God’ if I didn’t understand what the word ‘grace’ really meant. It was obviously a huge part of being a Christian, and I just couldn’t wrap my mind around it. For a season, I refused to get on stage and tell people about grace if He wouldn’t help me understand it myself. This conversation with God was the beginning to a journey of a prayer answered, and to this day has been transformational in my walk. He began to reveal the black and white truth of 2 Cor. 12:9: ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ The reality of grace has, of course, been extremely challenging sometimes (no one likes to look their weaknesses in the face!); but at the very same time it has served as the core behind everything I can do.” – Holly Starr
Holly Starr has managed to pull off something at Christian radio that few independent artists have, in recent history: deliver singles that not only consistently chart, but consistently move higher up the charts upon each new release. Following up three previous singles which all spent time on the R&R AC and Hot AC/CHR charts (“Let Go”, “Don’t Have Love” and most recently, “Through My Father’s Eyes”), “Grace For All” is a reflective, modern hymn written by Holly and a frequent crowd favorite throughout her past year of nearly-non-stop, nationwide touring.
