Personal Experience with Tourette Syndrome Inspires Original Music for 9-Song LP Release of “Last Call” Fusing A Unique Synthesis of Rock, Alternative, Americana and Country Music
Detroit, MI (April 28, 2014) – Legendary Tribute Band frontman Danny D releases Last Call- a 9-song CD chalked full of original music, which he calls “an introspective compilation of love, loss and life experiences” including his journey with Tourette syndrome and never letting it become an obstacle. Last Call introduces a unique synthesis of rock, alternative, americana and country to its thoughtful storytelling songs. Last Call is getting rave reviews and airplay around the country.
7 Stone Management client Danny D has shared the stage with international rock stars Rod Stewart, Roger Daltrey, Paul Stanley, Steven Tyler, Air Supply, David Lee Roth, Robert Bateman, Mark Farner, Alto Reed and the Silver Bullet Band. Danny D has also opened for The Tubes, Bad Company, Uncle Kracker, Eddie Money, Mitch Ryder, The Romantics, John Waite and The Miracles.
Danny D has performed at many venues and music festivals including DTE Energy Music Theater, MGM Grand Las Vegas, MGM Grand Detroit, Caesars Palace Vegas, Playboy Mansion, Freedom Hill, Campus Martius, Live Nation’s Fillmore Theater, Stars and Stripes Music Festival, Saint Clair Riverfest, Motown Winter Blast, Harbor Park Festival, New York’s Cutting Room, Motor City Mix, Uncle Sam Jam Festival and Hamtramck Labor Day Festival to name a few.

In 2011, Danny D received the Las Vegas CIC Reel Award for Best Tribute Band, has the honor of being the only tribute artist to ever perform a duet with Rod Stewart (at DTE) and has been interviewed by Wider World Biography on Discovery PBS, WDIV, CBS, Dr. Nandi, Detroit Live Magazine, Real Detroit Weekly, Music Page, Examiner and the Macomb Daily.
Danny D has shared his story of never giving up on your dreams no matter the obstacles you have to overcome. His music has been a vital outlet for his personal expression since age seven, when he started showing signs of Tourette syndrome. Though undiagnosed until the age of 21, Danny D’s singing and performing helped to diminish his symptoms – making him all the more determined to be successful.
