Jon Wax who also goes by the name Bassmeant and Mr. Wax is an artist, operators of Bassmeant Production Studios and the lead singer in TAiNT, The Bloid, Dating the Coma Girl and Hazmat. With over 5 albums in his discography it is no surprise he is not new to the music scene. While he enjoys art, movie production and writing his heart is set in making music. Jon has graced the stage at SXSW in Austin, Texas with the Bloids and appeared on FOX2 news and on air performances at local radio stations and local clubs in Detroit.

Jon Wax had the opportunity to work for Mike Rand who managed Blue October at the early part of their career. Mike Rand is responsible for such artists as Kid Rock and Sponge. Wax also worked with Jimmy Bones and Marlon Young on The Bloids project. Both are members of Kid Rocks band. Jon worked alongside MC Breed on an unreleased project. MC Breed was famous for hits such as “Ain’t No Future in Your Frontin” as well as “I gotta get mine” which he performed on with Tupac. He also was involved with Motown Rage from Detroit and have been on ICPs label and was very well liked by Dimebag Darrel from Pantera.

Jon Wax extensive discography continues to grow and with it he would like to shed light on philanthropic causes such helping to end suffering in less developed countries. He wants his music to make a difference and impact the world.
