Congrats Toby!

TOBY KEITH earns the 25th number-one hit of his career this week as “God Love Her” takes the top spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. As sweet as this milestone may be, Toby says, quote, “They all feel good, but nothing [is] like that first one.”

Toby’s first number-one hit was “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” which was also his debut single. The first time Toby heard that song on the radio, he was on the road with a woman who has since become very famous. Toby says, quote, “Me and SHANIA [TWAIN] were on a bus headed out on our first tour together…and it came on. She jumped up and down. [She] was about to pee her pants, and I was just in shock.” They’ve both come a long way since then, but Toby’s the one still on the road; he’s playing the Houston Rodeo on March 10th.
